1. Who we are
Mint-Rail is a trading name of Mint-Rail.com (Dubai), whose registered address is UAE. In these terms "Mint-Rail", "we" and "us" mean that company, and "you" means the business that opens a Mint-Rail account.
2. What Mint-Rail is
Mint-Rail is software. It orchestrates a payment between your customer and you: it hosts the payment, coordinates third-party providers, verifies the resulting on-chain transfer and reports the outcome to you. Mint-Rail does not take custody of funds or digital assets, does not hold signing authority over any wallet, and does not itself convert fiat currency to digital assets or back. Value moves from your customer's own wallet to the settlement address you nominate.
3. Eligibility
Mint-Rail is available to businesses that hold, and remain in good standing under, the licence or authorisation their activity requires in every jurisdiction in which they serve customers through Mint-Rail. You must supply accurate licensing, ownership and contact information at onboarding, keep it current, and tell us promptly if a licence is suspended, revoked or not renewed. We may verify this information with the issuing authority and may decline or close an account that does not meet these requirements.
4. Your account and API keys
You are responsible for everything done through your account, your API keys and your embed origins. Keep secret keys on your servers only. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you believe a key or an account has been compromised.
5. Third-party providers
A payment through Mint-Rail uses services from third parties: a wallet provider that creates and secures your customer's wallet, an on-ramp provider that verifies your customer and sells them the digital asset, and a public blockchain network. Each is governed by its own terms and policies, which your customer accepts directly with that provider. The on-ramp decides, under its own policy, whether to serve a given customer. Mint-Rail does not control those decisions and does not guarantee that any provider will serve any customer or transaction.
6. Acceptable use
- Use Mint-Rail only for activity that is lawful and licensed where your customer is located.
- Do not use Mint-Rail for any activity that is subject to sanctions, or with any person or entity that is.
- Do not attempt to bypass a provider's verification, limits or restrictions, or to misrepresent a customer, a transaction or your business to us or to a provider.
- Do not resell Mint-Rail or present its payment page as your own payment processing.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section, and we may report activity to a provider or an authority where the law requires.
7. Fees
Fees are those set out in your order form or commercial agreement with us. Provider fees, network fees and any conversion costs are charged by the relevant provider under its own terms.
8. Data
Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. Where you send us information about your customers, you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Mint-Rail available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change the service, and these terms, with reasonable notice; continued use after the notice period is acceptance of the change. The API is versioned and we will not remove a version without notice.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, Mint-Rail is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the acts or omissions of any third-party provider or blockchain network, or for loss caused by your breach of these terms. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
11. Termination
Either party may end this agreement on thirty days' written notice. We may suspend or end it immediately for breach of section 3 or 6, or where a provider or an authority requires us to. Payments in flight at termination are completed or failed under these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of UAE, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
